
MANILA, Philippines – The Social Security System (SSS) is preparing to roll out a new energy sustainability loan program, setting aside P40 billion to help members finance the installation of residential solar panels. SSS President and Chief Executive Officer Robert Joseph de Claro said the agency is aiming to announce the program by September, with implementation likely by the end of the year or in early 2027.
