TikToker Bells has featured Malta in the latest instalment of her viral series, where she explores countries on Google Maps until she comes across something she considers “ugly”.
As she virtually made her way around the islands, Bells was full of praise for Malta’s historic architecture, narrow streets and alleys, churches and picturesque scenery.
Along the way, she even stumbled across someone’s lush backyard, complete with a swimming pool and an abundance of greenery.
Throughout the video, she repeatedly complimented Malta’s distinctive aesthetic, pointing out its iconic colourful front doors and remarking that the country “looks so clean too”.
While admiring centuries-old buildings, she noted that despite looking “so old”, they were still incredibly beautiful.
Her virtual tour took her through several localities, including Mosta, Marsaskala, Birżebbuġa and Xagħra, which appeared to be her favourite stop, describing it simply as “beautiful”.
Bells also said Malta’s honey-coloured limestone buildings reminded her of the terracotta blocks she enjoys building with in the popular video game Minecraft.
The challenge finally came to an end when Google Maps placed her at the tunnel leading to Malta International Airport, the first location she decided was “ugly” enough to stop her search.
Did you think where she stopped is valid?
