
CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro — Galerian Water Transport Services will reduce its fastcraft passenger fares for the Batangas–Puerto Galera route beginning July 17, offering lower ticket prices as demand for sea travel picks up.
In an advisory posted by Galerian Puerto Galera Ticketing, the company announced that the new fares will apply only to bookings made on or after July 17.
Under the new tourist class rates, adult passengers will pay P650; students will be charged P520; senior citizens and persons with disabilities (PWDs), P460; and children aged three to seven, P320.

For VIP or business class, the new fares are P880 for adults, P700 for students, P630 for senior citizens and PWDs, and P440 for children aged three to seven.

The shipping company clarified that tickets purchased before July 17 will not qualify for fare adjustments, refunds, or partial refunds. The reduced fares will be available only for bookings made from the effective date onward.
The fare reduction comes after weeks of travel disruptions in MIMAROPA due to the southwest monsoon and Super Typhoon Inday (international name: Bavi), which led to the cancellation of several ferry trips serving the Batangas–Mindoro route.
