
MANILA, Philippines — A fire hit a residential area in Tondo, Manila on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Bureau of Fire Protection – National Capital Region (BFP-NCR).
In a Facebook post, BFP-NCR Manila City said that the fire occurred in a residential area in Dagupan Extension in Tondo, Manila around 4:01 p.m., with the first alarm instantly reached at 4:03 p.m.
The BFP-NCR said that the second and third alarms were eventually raised at 4:12 p.m. and 4:33 p.m., respectively. The fourth alarm was at 5 p.m. while the bureau said that the fire was currently on fifth alarm.

The bureau also noted that the location of nearest fire hydrants can be found in the following areas:

Villa Fojas cor. Juan Luna
Solis cor. Dagupan Ext.
Pampanga St. cor. Juan Luna
It then advised the public to call 0969-398-9700/5-336-5138/5-336-5139 or dial 911 in case of fire or other emergencies.
