Hard Rock Cafe has officially opened its new home in St George’s Bay, St Julian’s, marking the latest chapter in the brand’s long-standing presence in Malta.
The new venue builds on Hard Rock International’s partnership with the db Group, which first brought the iconic restaurant to Malta in 2000 with the opening of its Bay Street location.
With seating for more than 180 guests and a spacious terrace overlooking St George’s Bay, the new restaurant offers Hard Rock’s signature American menu alongside live entertainment and its trademark music-inspired atmosphere.
A purpose-built stage will host weekly events, including live music and comedy nights, while the venue is designed to cater for everything from casual dining to birthdays, corporate events and group celebrations.
As with Hard Rock Cafes around the world, the new restaurant features a collection of authentic music memorabilia from artists including The Beatles, Duran Duran, The Black Eyed Peas and Katy Perry.
Guests can also visit the on-site Rock Shop, which stocks the brand’s signature merchandise and collectibles. The new outlet joins Hard Rock’s existing locations at Malta International Airport and the Valletta Waterfront, further expanding the brand’s footprint across the island.
The opening forms part of the db Group’s wider redevelopment plans for St George’s Bay, with the new Hard Rock Cafe now welcoming customers seven days a week.
