Love Island USA's Rob Rausch Shaves His Head in New Transformation

Kordell Beckham is entering his bombshell era.

After all, the Love Island USA season six winner revealed that he swapped out his signature lush afro for a sleek shaved look.

"Alright y'all, my head lookin' crazy right now but that's 'cause I'm finna cut it off," Kordell said in the July 13 Instagram video alongside girlfriend Serena Page. "I just got off the plane, straight to the shop. I got my girl supporting me. She ain't never seen me like that."

As for what he asked the barber? He explained in the chair, "Taper fade, no higher than the ear."

Meanwhile, Serena documented the experience in her own vlog.

"Kordell's about to go bald," she explained in a separate video. "I've never seen him with a fade, so I'm excited."

"Within my first three days of meeting him," the 26-year-old recalled of their time on the dating competition show, "my hands was in that head and I was braiding it. So, a little emotional but I'm so excited and I know he's gonna look so handsome."

Although she teased that Kordell's hair was "giving somebody's uncle" midway through the cut, she was thrilled with the results.

As she put it, "It looks so scrumiddlyum-yum."

For the couple, doing hair had been a love language since their romance first blossomed in Fiji. In fact, Serena—who previously revealed that she has been working on doing her own braids since 2018—captured fans' hearts as she styled Kordell's locks in the villa.

"I appreciate you for getting me right 'cause I know I'm looking crazy," he said in episode 28. "You made me feel like myself when I'm around you."

Serena shared a glimpse into styling Kordell's hair after their win, noting that she initially freshened up the look he'd come in with.

"When he came in with the braids, I was redoing his braids at first, but that wasn't like shown," she explained on Radio Andy's Smith Sisters Live in July 2024. "I was touching them up and redoing them. After Casa [Amor], I was just like, we need to get your head right."

Thanks to Serena's helping hand, Kordell felt like a hot new bombshell, stepping out with his new look.

"It was a tough time. I couldn't do nothing with my head," he recalled. "It was a big difference. I was walking around, I ain't had no colorful clothes on, hair all a mess."

"Things got better," Kordell said after getting his hair done, I started wearing colorful clothes, hair lookin' good, I'm cheesin'."
