Kim Kardashian Officially Hard Launches Lewis Hamilton Romance

It looks like Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton’s relationship is on the right track.

Because after months of fans doing laps around the internet to find out where the two stand, The Kardashians star appeared to hard-launch her romance with the race car driver.

In a June 1 Instagram post simply captioned "lately," Kim could be seen riding bikes with Lewis along New York City's West Side Highway. And as followers watched her scream while swerving on the path, they couldn’t help but squeal with delight over the pair.

"You and Lewis Hamilton look great together," one commenter wrote while another called them by their celebrity nickname, “Kimilton.”

Now, the two seem to be putting the pedal to the metal on their romance. On July 13, Kim posted photos of her "summers at the lake with my favorite people," which included kids North West, 13, Saint West, 10, Chicago West, 8, and  Psalm West, 7 as well as Lewis.

Though Kim and Lewis have yet to cross the finish line in terms of publicly detailing their relationship status, they have been inching towards it. Like when the athlete was asked about seeming happier on and off the track during a Q&A session ahead of the British Grand Prix on July 3, and he credited not only his Ferrari team but also "of course Kim."

Plus, her sister Khloe Kardashian practically confirmed they’re each other’s co-passengers.

At a family screening of the new Michael Jackson biopic Michael, "it was everyone and their boyfriends," Khloe shared on the May 20 episode of her podcast Khloe In Wonder Land, name-checking Kourtney Kardashian and her husband Travis Barker, "and then me and my mom [Kris Jenner]. I loved it."

However, Lewis wasn’t about to go full throttle in terms of letting the public in right away. When asked about the Super Bowl date, detailed Sky Sports reporter Ted Kravitz, Lewis told the unnamed outlet, "It’s my private life. I’m not talking about that."

Perhaps it’s understandable why Lewis wanted to pull the brakes on this subject, having expressed how difficult it can be to balance his personal life with his career.

"Yes, it's very complicated, especially in today's world," the 41-year-old—who previously dated Nicole Scherzinger and was linked to Gigi Hadid, Rita Ora and Sofia Richie Grainge—told RTBF in 2025. "I see other drivers and I wonder how they manage: Some have children, are married, have girlfriends. I went through that in my twenties. I made a different choice: I decided to maximize the time I have here because it's shorter than people think. I don't want any regrets, or to think I could have given more."

Meanwhile, Kim has had her own concerns about entering a new relationship, especially after seeing how ex-husband Kanye "Ye" West—dad to North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm—treated her former boyfriend Pete Davidson.

"It has definitely affected that," she admitted on an October episode of Call Her Daddy, discussing the toll on her dating life. "There has been situations where I’ll get close to someone and then it’s like, 'Wait, wait, wait, wait. I don’t really want to deal with your ex, and I don’t want to deal with if he’s going to say something.' And I’m like [sigh]. So it has been a little frustrating, but then I get like, 'My person wouldn’t care about that.' But it is a big thing and I get it. It’s not an easy thing."

And any new partner would have to keep up with her daily hustle. "I just don’t know if I have the energy—or maybe I just haven’t met the right person—that I’d want to blend my life with," the 45-year-old continued. "I don’t know."

Still, Kim wasn’t going to let these fears drive away her dreams of finding her ride-or-die. And while the All Is Fair star—who was also previously married to Damon Thomas and Kris Humphries—has made it clear she wasn't going to speed into a new relationship right away, she'd give the green light to finding love again.

"I’m the biggest hopeless romantic," she said on a November episode of The Kardashians. "When the right person comes along, I’ll be so ready and everything will be fine."
