Catholic Mass in English in Carvoeiro this Sunday

It is true that we have changed our routine and are doing exciting things every day. We are relaxing, we have more time on our hands, and we notice and appreciate the leisure and novelty of being in Portugal.

So why not take a moment to be grateful and thankful for our blessings? Especially for the opportunity to worship in a different church, in a slightly different way, and with new people. Prepare to be surprised!

A Catholic Mass in English will be celebrated in Carvoeiro on Sunday, July 19, at 4pm, at the Chapel of Our Lady of the Incarnation (Ermida da Nossa Senhora da Encarnação), on the cliffs overlooking Carvoeiro.

The entire Mass, including the readings and hymns, will be in English. Residents and visitors of all nationalities are warmly welcome. Padre Nuno Coelho wishes to include and integrate Catholics of every language and nationality within his parish community.

There will be a retiring collection in support of the Lagoa Caritas Food Bank, which currently helps more than 100 families in need.

Please note that the regular weekend Mass in Carvoeiro takes place at 5.30pm on Saturdays (in Portuguese, with some English).
