My Apple Watch is an everyday essential. I wear it daily to track steps and workouts and monitor my heart rate, thanks to a chronic circulatory condition. As time has gone on, my watch has developed its own entourage of other gadgets that I like to pair with it.

Since there are plenty of chargers, watch bands, and other Apple Watch accessories on the market, I figured I'd share my very favorites. These are the accessories I keep coming back to, even after testing the latest and greatest gear on the market. I'm a longtime user of Nomad's watch bands, and I previously loved the Sport Slim Band, which is only available in one color right now. Nomad's Sport Band is also a great option for those who like the fit and feel of Apple's flagship watch bands.

Anker's MagGo 3-1 wireless charger is an ultraportable device that's dethroned my previous top travel charger. It folds up to fit in your pocket so that you can power up your devices from anywhere. Since it isn't a standing setup, it does take up more tabletop space, but that hasn't been an issue for me while on the road. This charger stays in my travel bag so I don't even have to think about packing it -- it's that good.

I've been using these Apple Watch protectors from Zagg for several years now. They're not completely foolproof -- they do require cleaning here and there, as dirt and product tend to build up underneath, but it's the same way grime accumulates on your phone case.

I like that these help protect my watch screen from scrapes and scratches and keep the sides from damage. The protector usually yellows over time, but by then, I find I need to replace it anyway. These may not be for you if you prefer to buy it for life, but if you want a clear protector that lasts at least a year, this is the way to go.
