Laura Prepon’s Ex Ben Foster Accuses Her of “Inappropriate Marital Conduct” Amid Divorce
Ben Foster found the finest kind of romance.
More than one year after the Hell or High Water star finalized his divorce from Laura Prepon, he showed off his new relationship with Jim Belushi's daughter Jamison Belushi. (Her mom is the comedian's third wife Jennifer Sloan.)
Ben—wearing a half-buttoned red satin button-up shirt, showing off his chest hair and pendant necklace—placed a kiss on the Stranger in My Home actress' forehead as they posed at the Motor City premiere afterparty in New York City on July 13. Jamison, 26, complemented his bold look with an all-black ensemble at the Classic Car Club Manhattan.
Since the 45-year-old filed for divorce from Laura—with whom he shares kids Ella, 8, and a 6-year-old son whose name has not been revealed—in November 2024 following six years of marriage, he's been hanging out down the streets of Tennessee.
"I lived in L.A. for, we'll call it 12 years," he told The Hollywood Reporter last September. "I lived in New York for about the same. My parents are very close with my children. They've moved close to Nashville. After the pandemic, I had a cognition that I didn't need to live on either coast, quite frankly."
And the transition has been everything he's dreamed of.
"I love horses and I ride," he added. "I love live music. I dig country music. There's been a shift from both coasts and I've found that it's gentler for me, at least, to hub there. Nashville is just a different way. I'm enjoying it."

It's a new chapter for Ben—who was previously engaged to Robin Wright—since his divorce from That '70s Show alum was finalized in April 2025 after a tumultuous legal battle. Ben accused Laura of "inappropriate marital conduct," alleging that she was "guilty of such cruel and inhumane treatment" that made living together "unsafe and improper," according to an amended divorce petition obtained by In Touch.
E! News had reached out to reps for Foster and Prepon at the time but didn't hear back.
Laura, who also lives in Nashville, was designated as the primary residential parent, while Ben is expected to pay $5,500 per month in child support, according to court docs obtained by E! News.
But it wasn't always so contentious between the exes. Although they ultimately felt it was best to part ways, Laura previously shared how much she had leaned on Ben, especially after her decision to step away from Scientology.

"We meditate daily and I'm really liking it," she told People in August 2021, "because it's something that helps me to hear my own voice and it's something we can do together."
And part of that journey included date nights with her then-husband.
"We pick a director and watch a bunch of their films," she explained. I'll make us a homemade meal and we'll do our film school and talk about it."
"Life is slowly starting to have some semblance of normalcy again," Laura added, "so for now, it's just work, family and trying to get a laugh when we can."
