Katie Holmes Steps Out With Artist Jason Bard Yarmosky

Katie Holmes and Her Mom Kathleen Holmes Make Rare Joint Appearance at American Ballet Theatre Gala

Katie Holmes and Jason Bard Yarmosky didn’t want to wait to see this movie.

The Dawson’s Creek alum stepped out hand-in-hand with the artist at a screening of Olivia Wilde’s The Invite in the Hamptons, New York, July 10.

For the night out at Regal UA Cinema & The Boat House, Holmes—mom to daughter Suri, 20, with ex Tom Cruise—wore a satin green skirt with orange detailing paired with a white, long-sleeved cotton T-shirt. The Happy Hours director kept her wavy dark hair natural, tied back in a half ponytail and accessorized with a red satchel and green statement earrings.

Yarmosky, meanwhile, opted for an all-black look, pairing a sweater with jeans. The duo stayed close as they made their way into the theater and posed for a photo in front of a poster for the film, which stars Wilde as well as Seth Rogen, Penélope Cruz and Edward Norton.

While Holmes has not addressed her relationship status, her last public romance was with Bobby Wooten III, with whom she dated for less than a year in 2022. While their romance was short-lived, the pair stepped out several times during their months-long romance, including a red carpet appearance at The Moth's Silver Ball that May.

Meanwhile, Holmes has rekindled her close friendship with former Dawson’s Creek costar Joshua Jackson—whom she dated in the late 1990s while filming the series—in filming the first installment in their new film trilogy Happy Hours, and even liked an April Instagram comment from a fan saying they “should be a couple.”

To the chagrin of every Pacey/Joey fan, though, Holmes appears to have moved past the idea, while Jackson also recently sparked romance rumors himself with model Olivia Burgess last month.

Nevertheless, Holmes and Jackson have made it clear their bond remains strong nearly 30 years after they dated. After all, The Mighty Ducks alum called the director a “lifelong friend.”

“She is such an incredible friend that she made the space for us to be able to play together again after all these years,” Jackson—dad to daughter Juno, 6, with ex Jodie Turner-Smith—mused in an Instagram post last month, after their film’s Tribeca Film Festival premiere. “I was amazed when we were kids and she was the bravest, most raw of us telling the truth in every moment.”

He continued, “And I am amazed now to watch her as a leader, with the same commitment to kindness, strength through compassion, to truth and the essential hopefulness of existence.”
