Google's expected Pixel 11 phones and Pixel Watch 5 smartwatch appear to have been shown off in a series of new leaks this week, showing off the colors and price changes for the new devices. We expect to see the official unveiling of these devices at the Made by Google event on Aug. 12, but very little appears to have been left secret if these leaks turn out to be true.
This new set of details comes a week after details for the base Pixel 11 were leaked by the French site Deallabs Magazine, and the latest two leaks paint a better picture of what we might see.
On Monday, 9to5Google spotted three separate listings for the upcoming Pixel 11 smartphones, including images of the new colors. The listings seemed to be of drafts that were published early and were shown to be shipped by Amazon.
The base Pixel 11 will allegedly come in three colors, according to the report: midnight, fuchsia and moss. Another listing details the colors for the Pixel 11 Pro, which include dune, light fog, pine and sterling. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold will come in both midnight and pine, though additional colors could be available during the official unveiling next month.
The listing also details some specifications of the phones. Notably, the listing shows the base Pixel 11 shipping with 12GB of RAM, and if true, would disprove an earlier rumor that it would come with less RAM this year. The listing shows that the base Pixel 11 will no longer have a 128GB storage option and will start at 256GB instead. The starting price for the base Pixel 11 is $899, which lines up with a previous rumor that the entire lineup could be more expensive this year.
Battery capacities were also in the listings, with the base Pixel 11 coming with a 4,985 mAh battery, the Pixel 11 Pro XL with a 5,115-mAh battery and the Pixel 11 Pro Fold coming in at 4,750 mAh.
All Pixel 11 phones are expected to ship with Android 17 out of the box.
New Pixel Watch 5 colors and price bump
That's not the only leak, as we caught a glimpse of what looks to be the upcoming Pixel Watch 5. Design-wise, it appears that little has changed, but there will be four color options available at launch.
The renders were released by tech leak site The Tide Chart via OnLeaks. The four colors will include dark anthracite, natural silver, warm gold and pyrite. The renders show the dark anthracite with a black band, the natural silver with a blue band, the warm gold watch with a coral band and a green band for the pyrite option.
As with the Pixel 11 lineup, it looks like the Pixel Watch 5 will also see a bump in the base starting price. The jump is $50 for the base, 41mm Wi-Fi model, now starting at $399. The 45mm LTE model is said to run $529.
The Tide Chart says the new watches could pack bigger batteries, along with a new Tensor processor, but it could not verify the claim. This new look at the Pixel Watch 5 comes after a more unorthodox reveal in May, in which the unreleased device was reportedly found in the ocean by a friend of Gearbox Entertainment founder Randy Pitchford, who helped get the device returned to its owner by publicizing the find on his social media account.
The Pixel Watch 5 lineup will ship with WearOS 7 when it makes its debut. We will find out Aug. 12 whether any of these leaks for the watch or the Pixel 11 phones turn out to be true.
