Matt Damon Reveals How He Really Feels About His 4 Daughters Dating
You don't need a Trojan Horse to be welcomed into Matt Damon's home.
In fact, the actor has approved of many of the suitors who vied for the hearts of his and wife Luciana Barroso Damon's four daughters: Alexia Damon, 27, Isabella Damon, 20, Gia Damon, 17, and Stella Damon, 15.
"I'm pretty kind," Matt told exclusively told Justin Sylvester during the Live from E! Stream of The Odyssey's New York City premiere July 14, adding that his daughters "have very wonderful tastes."
Still, he will wage war if needed. As the 55-year-old put it, he has the same approach as his fellow Oscar winner Sean Penn, who once made a veiled threat to his daughter Dylan Penn's childhood boyfriend before their date.
"My favorite line that I've ever seen was Sean Penn's," Matt said with a laugh, before quoting the One Battle After Another star's 2015 interview on The Graham Norton Show, "'Whatever you do to her, I'm gonna do to you when you get home.'"
And that's a line many should take to heart. After all, Matt developed quite a lot of muscles while preparing for his role in The Odyssey, dropping over 40 lbs. to play Greek warrior Odysseus.

Describing filming for the Christopher Nolan epic "really challenging," the Jason Bourne alum continued, "I have never been more proud to be a part of a group of people."
"Everything's in camera. There's no CGI," Matt explained. "If you see a thousand people battling, there are a thousand people there. It was just one thing after another."
Fortunately, he was in good company, with his former Interstellar castmate Anne Hathaway playing his character's wife Penelope and Tom Holland portraying his onscreen son Telemachus.

"I love the two of them," Matt raved. "They're just they're incredible people to work with. They're unbelievably professional, but they're just the best people. They're just the kindest. It was a wonderful experience."
Also starring Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong'o and Charlize Theron, The Odyssey hits theaters July 17.
