
Qualified members of the Social Security System (SSS) may soon be able to borrow up to P400,000 to install residential solar panels under a proposed financing program that aims to make clean energy more accessible to Filipino households. The proposed SSS residential solar financing program would allow eligible members to take out loans ranging from P300,000 to P400,000, payable over four to seven years, according to SSS President and Chief Executive Officer Robert Joseph de Claro.
