
MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Air Force (PAF) said on Tuesday it would deploy two elements of FA-50 fighter jets and a C-130 transport aircraft to Australia for Exercise Pitch Black 2026, the Royal Australian Air Force’s premier biennial multinational air combat exercise. PAF spokesperson Col. Christina Basco said the exercise would run from July 17 to Aug. 7 in Northern Australia and bring together air forces from 21 partner nations for tactical flying missions and integrated training aimed at enhancing interoperability and operational readiness.
