
LUCENA CITY – Police arrested three suspected drug pushers in separate buy-bust operations in Batangas, Cavite, and Laguna provinces on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The operations yielded over P499,000 worth of suspected shabu (crystal meth) and two unlicensed handguns, the Police Regional Office 4A (Calabarzon) reported.
The police report said members of the Batangas City Drug Enforcement Unit arrested a suspect known only by the alias “Damian” after he allegedly sold P1,000 worth of suspected shabu to an undercover police officer in Barangay Wawa at about 8:39 p.m. on Tuesday.

Seized from the suspect were five heat-sealed plastic sachets containing about 55 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P374,000.
Police also confiscated the suspect’s mobile phone, which will be subjected to forensic examination for possible drug-related evidence.
Authorities identified Damian as a high-value individual (HVI), a classification used for alleged drug financiers, traffickers, manufacturers, importers, and leaders or members of drug syndicates.
In Calamba City, Laguna, anti-drug operatives arrested another suspect, identified only by the alias “Adrian,” in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Banlic at around 9:07 p.m. also on Tuesday.

Authorities recovered four sachets of suspected shabu weighing about 13 grams with an estimated value of P88,400.
Operatives also seized an unlicensed caliber .45 pistol, a magazine, and two rounds of ammunition from the suspect.

Meanwhile, police in Novelet, Cavite arrested a suspect identified only as “JP” during a buy-bust operation in Barangay San Juan II at about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Authorities said the suspect was allegedly carrying an unlicensed caliber .38 revolver loaded with three live rounds of ammunition and suspected shabu valued at P37,060.
All three suspects are under police custody and will face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
