ALICIA, Isabela — A man arrested for murder on Wednesday, July 15, also yielded a kilo of alleged shabu worth P6.8 million and firearms.
The suspect, identified only by the alias “Noli,” was tracked down at his alleged safehouse at 2 a.m. in Sitio Andarayan, Barangay Rizal, Alicia, according to Police Colonel Manuel Bringas, Isabela police director.

The tracker team was serving an arrest warrant for a murder charge issued by Cauayan City Judge Ariel Palce of the Regional Trial Court-Branch 40. Murder is a non-bailable offense.

Aside from the shabu, police also seized a 12-gauge shotgun with five rounds of ammunition, a .45-caliber pistol, assorted ammunition, a hand grenade, a plastic replica grenade, a bolo, two glass tube pipes, two weighing scales, and other items.
He was placed under police custody in the town while a follow-up investigation is underway.
Aside from his murder case, Noli will also be charged with illegal possession of prohibited drugs, firearms, and ammunition. /mcm
