Toyota Kirloskar Motor has started testing the new Toyota Innova Hycross facelift. The MPV has been spotted testing in India for the first time, offering an early look at the updated model ahead of its expected 2027 launch.
Spy images indicate changes to the front fascia, revised bumpers and new lighting units, suggesting a refreshed exterior design. It’s hard to tell anything about MPV’s new design; however, the overall silhouette looks the same as the outgoing model. At the front, the MPV appears to feature a redesigned grille with a more squared-off look, flanked by slimmer headlamps that seem to incorporate new projector units.
The front bumper also appears to have been revised.
From the side, the overall silhouette remains unchanged. The alloy wheels look identical to those of the current model, while the cladded wheel arches have been retained. At the rear, the facelift seems to get updated LED tail-lamp detailing. The test vehicle also features a roof-mounted spoiler, rear wiper and shark-fin antenna. Other expected changes will include new scuff plates, redesigned 18-inch wheels, integrated spoiler, shark fin antenna and more.
There are no details of the interior yet. However, Toyota is expected to revise the interior with updated upholstery and trim materials to give it a fresher appearance. Expected features include a bigger free-standing infotainment screen, a fully digital cluster, dual-zone climate control, ventilated seats, a wireless charger, a panoramic sunroof, electric seats adjustable for front passengers and much more.
The facelift is expected to continue with the existing engine options. These include a 173hp 2.0-litre petrol engine paired with a CVT automatic gearbox and a 184hp 2.0-litre petrol-hybrid powertrain paired with an e-CVT transmission.Image: habeeb_payyoly/Instagram
