DJ Ryan Spiteri, 47, and a 41-year-old woman from St Paul’s Bay died from accidental carbon monoxide poisoning, police have confirmed.
The pair were found unconscious inside a car parked in a garage in Triq Salvu Busuttil, Wied il-Għajn, at around 9pm on Tuesday.
A medical team and members of the Civil Protection Department were called to the scene, but both individuals were certified dead.
In a statement issued today, police said an autopsy carried out this morning concluded that the pair died as a result of accidental carbon monoxide poisoning.
