Where Kaitlyn Bristowe's Ex Shawn Booth Stands With Nick Viall After Feud
Kaitlyn Bristowe's love life is coming up roses.
More than two years after the Bachelorette alum sparked romance rumors with fellow Bachelor Nation star Zac Clark, she revealed that she may be ready to be a fiancée once again.
"I'm on this third possible engagement," Bristowe told Amanda Hirsch on the July 14 episode of the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast. "If I'm gonna finally talk about someone out loud after however long, I hope this is the person."
Although the reality star didn't publicly identify her boyfriend, she emphasized it's not entirely under wraps, noting, "People know."
In fact, she revealed on the podcast that it was her boyfriend whom she pranked on April Fool's Day by asking him to attend her dog's baptism. (Eagle-eyed fans recognized that it was Clark's voice at the time.)
While most Bachelor Nation fans have deduced who Bristowe is dating, she admitted that her engagement to Bachelorette alum Jason Tartick—which ended in August 2023 after four years together—had changed her perception of being public about her love life.
"I think it's definitely a trauma response," Bristowe—who was also engaged to Shawn Booth from 2015 to 2018 after choosing him on her season of The Bachelorette—reflected. "My last two relationships were so public and I found that people start filling in the gaps on what's happening outside of the posts."
She emphasized that it often led to speculations with a "negative, dark energy" overshadowing her personal life. Although she is "really proud" of how far she and her now-boyfriend have come, her past romances have left her scared.
"My ego holds me back too because I'm like, 'What if I'm just a failure again in a relationship?' she explained. However, she added, "I'm getting better."

Bristowe also reflected on how social media ultimately hurt the dynamics of her relationship with Tartick.
"I felt like I lost that person who I thought he was and who I really think he might have been to social media," she shared. "I watched someone change in front of my eyes and not seem like the person I fell in love with. I think I'm so scared of that happening."
But the 41-year-old also knows that at some point, she has to let go of the feelings from her past relationships. She often reminds herself, "This is not that relationship."
As for Tartick, his love life is also coming up roses. He recently got engaged to Kathryn Hurley. Sharing the news on July 17, the 37-year-old wrote on Instagram, "Right where we belong.”
As Bristowe and Tartick each embrace their rosy romances, keep reading for a look at where more Bachelor Nation couples stand.
