The Stranger Things cast has reunited (kind of) to celebrate 10 years of Netflix‘s iconic series.
The stars of the sci-fi saga all appear in a new video (below) released on Wednesday to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of Stranger Things launching. The first season premiered on July 15, 2016.
The entire cast including Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Sadie Sink, Priah Ferguson, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Maya Hawke, Joe Keery, David Harbour, Winona Ryder, Brett Gelman and more appear in the 10-year look back and, although they appear individually and not together, seeing the young cast even more grown up than when the series ended hits home just how far the mega-hit series from the Duffer Brothers has come.
The series finale released on Dec. 31, 2025.
Creators-writers-directors-executive producers Matt and Ross Duffer released a statement to mark the milestone, saying, “We’re feeling so many emotions today. Nostalgic, proud and, yeah, a little sad too, that the decade-long journey of making Stranger Things has come to an end. But above all, we feel grateful — for our amazing cast, who we watched grow into wonderful human beings; for the hundreds of brilliant artists who devoted so much of themselves bringing the story to life; and for you, the fans, whose dedication, patience and passion fueled all of us throughout the years. So: THANK YOU.”
They continued, “If you want to celebrate, we humbly suggest opening up the curiosity door one more time, grabbing a 3 Musketeers (maybe some chocolate pudding too!) and watching the Season 1 VHS Special Edition. If Stranger Things existed in Hawkins — sitting on a shelf at Family Video — it would look just like this (complete with pan-and-scan)! Is it possible your head will explode from nostalgia overload? Yes. But it’s worth the gamble! And hey, if enough of you nerds watch it, maybe we’ll do the rest of the seasons…”
The Stranger Things franchise continues on with Stranger Things: The First Shadow, Netflix’s foray into live theater, which has been a hit across both London’s West End and Broadway; as well as Stranger Things: The Immersive Experience in several cities and the upcoming Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights offering inspired by season five coming Aug. 28.
On screen, the Duffer Brothers’ animated spinoff Stranger Things: Tales From ‘85 has been renewed for a second season following its April 2026 debut, and the Duffer Brothers are working on a forthcoming live-action Stranger Things spinoff that will feature an entirely new cast and setting.
