Behind every successful celebrity is an equally sharp business manager. Each year, The Hollywood Reporter recognizes the industry’s best and most influential business managers, the professionals who manage the financial lives of entertainment’s most high-profile figures.

When that first big check comes in, these are the professionals who turn it into something lasting. From day one, they ask the client the real questions: What’s their ultimate goal? Then, while the celebrity is in front of the camera, their business manager is behind the scenes turning their paychecks into long-term wealth, overseeing millions in investments and making the hard decisions most fans will never know about

Managing the money also means managing expectations. Sometimes that means being the one to say no — to the racehorse, the castle in Scotland, the vintage Ferrari. It means handling taxes, retirement accounts, and every unglamorous detail an artist would rather not think about.
