Kesha Reveals Meaning Behind Her Grammys 2026 Dress
We R Who We R, and Kesha is someone who collects human teeth.
Although the “TiK ToK” singer has been a proud collector of the human ectodermal organ for many years, she recently shared how the unusual hobby came to be.
“Do you know I collect teeth? I do,” Kesha explained during a July 15 episode of Las Culturistas. “Send them over. The teeth started when I became obsessed with my fans and then someone was like, ‘My child lost their teeth,’ and I was like, ‘Can I have them?’”
Indeed, the 39-year-old hoped to use real teeth—she previously shared she’s received over 1,000 teeth from fans—to make jewelry.
“I made a necklace, an earring and then a belt and then a crown,” she recalled. “Then I just started collecting them because it kind of freaks out straight men.”
And Kesha’s teeth collecting has grown far beyond using them to make other things.
“I just started putting them all over my home,” she explained, “In little jars.”
Although the “Timber” singer acknowledged that her collection may raise eyebrows, she argued it’s creating something out of what would otherwise be considered trash.
“Do you flush them down the toilet?” Kesha posited. “Where are they going? Give them to me. Can I actually have them? It’s not a drill, not a joke.”
As the Grammy nominee put it, “I am a pop star and I need your teeth.”
For Kesha, her collection has meaning beyond her interest in teeth themselves.

“It just reminds me when I have a little piece of the people I love,” she said during an episode of Call Her Daddy in May. “I have my cats had to get their little teeth taken out. They're little kitty wisdom teeth. I collect those too.”
While the “Praying” singer has been collecting teeth since at least 2012, it’s clearly not a hobby she plans to stop anytime soon. As she put it, “I'm like the tooth fairy.”
