Sean "Diddy" Combs' Prison Release Date Moved Up Amid 4-Year Sentence

Sean "Diddy" Combs is making real estate moves from behind bars.

As the rapper continues to serve out his four-year prison sentence on prostitution-related charges, his home on Miami's famed Star Island was sold for $55 million, according to multiple outlets.

The 7,988-square-foot mansion, which boasts six bedrooms and eight-and-a-half bathrooms, sits next door to Combs' other Miami residence that federal agents raided in March 2024 in connection to allegations of sex trafficking and racketeering.

At the time, authorities seized more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant, as well as "various Freak Off supplies, including narcotics," according to court documents unsealed following Combs' September 2024 arrest on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution.

“During Freak Offs, Combs distributed a variety of controlled substances to victims, in part to keep the victims obedient and compliant,” a federal indictment read. “Sometimes unbeknownst to the victims, Combs kept videos he filmed of victims engaging in sex acts with commercial sex workers.”

During Combs' 2025 trial, his ex Cassie Ventura testified to being coerced into participating in "hundreds" of freak-off parties during their on-and-off relationship of 11 years, accusing the Bad Boy Records mogul of filming the acts to use as blackmail against her.

Ultimately, Combs was found guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution under the Mann Act, but acquitted of the sex trafficking and racketeering charges.

At his sentencing last year, the Grammy winner issued an apology to Ventura—who he broke up with in 2018—for "any harm I have caused her emotionally or physically."

"My actions were disgusting, shameful and sick. I was sick, sick from the drugs, I was out of control, I needed help and I didn't get the help, and I cannot make no excuse," he continued. "I am not this larger than life person—I am just a human being, I was trying my best, I got lost in my excess and lost in my ego."

Combs was initially sentenced to 50 months in prison, though his release date has since been moved up multiple times. Current prison records show that he is set to be released on Feb. 8, 2028.
