S. Mahi Global Services Ltd. has announced the launch of its flagship digital platform, the S-MAHII Mobile App, describing it as an artificial intelligence-powered marketplace designed to transform service delivery, artisan engagement and commerce in Nigeria and beyond.
The company said the application, developed under the leadership of its Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Alhaji Saidu Abdulmalik, is now available on the Google Play Store following its official launch in July 2026.
According to the company, the technology is registered with the Nigerian Copyright Commission (NCC) under Registration Number 318632 and is designed to bridge the gap between skilled artisans and customers through digital tools that improve communication, accessibility and transaction security.
In a statement announcing the launch, the company said one of the app’s flagship features is an AI-powered real-time translation system capable of translating conversations across multiple languages, including Hausa and English, to eliminate communication barriers between artisans and clients.
The platform also incorporates voice-to-text and text-to-voice technology, allowing users to search for services using voice commands and receive spoken responses without the need to type.
Another key feature is its location-based service discovery system, which enables users to locate nearby service providers such as mechanics, plumbers, electricians and other artisans based on their real-time location.
The application also includes an in-app messaging platform that allows customers and service providers to negotiate jobs, discuss project details and agree on pricing before services are rendered.
To improve convenience, the company said users can securely register their residential addresses, enabling verified artisans to provide services at designated locations even when the customer is away.
The firm further disclosed that the platform has an “Embassy Dashboard” intended to facilitate collaboration with foreign diplomatic missions in monitoring citizens travelling abroad for employment opportunities, a feature it said is aimed at promoting safer and more transparent labour mobility.
Beyond Nigeria, S. Mahi said the application was developed on a multi-tenant architecture that allows it to adapt automatically to different countries through localisation of currencies, languages and artisan directories while remaining a single global application.
The company is also seeking investors through a franchise model that offers exclusive operational rights within Nigeria on a state or economic zone basis, while foreign investors can obtain country-wide master licences for international markets.
Under the model, franchise operators are expected to retain registration revenue generated within their territories while remitting an agreed royalty to the technology developer.
The company said it is inviting corporate organisations, institutional investors and prospective state coordinators to explore partnership opportunities through franchise agreements and other investment arrangements.
Industry analysts say digital platforms that connect artisans with customers have witnessed increasing adoption in Nigeria, driven by growing smartphone penetration and demand for trusted, location-based services. They note, however, that the long-term success of such platforms will depend on user adoption, effective verification systems and consistent service quality.
