Rodante Marcoleta is headed to the new Quezon City Jail in Barangay Payatas after the Sandiganbayan ordered his transfer on Wednesday, concluding a nine-day hospital arrest following his recovery from pneumonia. The order was issued by Associate Justice Karl Miranda, chair of the anti-graft court’s Third Division, who pointed to the latest medical evaluations of the 72-year-old lawmaker from both the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) and the Philippine National Police General Hospital (PNPGH).
