
CEBU CITY, Philippines — The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) 7 recorded 28 cases of trafficking in persons (TIP) and online sexual abuse or exploitation of children (OSAEC) in Central Visayas from January to June 2026. The cases were handled under the agency’s Recovery and Reintegration Program for Trafficked Persons, which provides protection, rehabilitation, and reintegration services to victim-survivors.
