As she prepares to crown her successor, Julia Cluett has taken a moment to look back on the year that changed her life.
Ahead of the Miss Universe Malta final, Cluett shared an emotional post reflecting on her reign, admitting that attending the final rehearsal had left her “in my feels.”
Although she recently marked one year since winning the title, she said the real milestone comes tomorrow, when she officially passes on her crown.
“So it only felt natural to look back on the final night and, in particular, reminisce the special moment I was crowned,” she wrote.
Cluett also thanked the people who helped shape her journey, including her glam team, director Alan J. Darmanin, catwalk coach Mharvz Napoles, her fellow contestants and everyone who supported her through sponsorships, advice and words of encouragement.
Ending her post with a heartfelt “Thank you,” Cluett celebrated the memories she made over the past year as she gets ready to welcome a new Miss Universe Malta queen.
