Residents at Mount Carmel Hospital now have access to a dedicated digital space equipped with computers and other technological tools.
The new hub was officially inaugurated by Health Minister Ian Borg alongside E.T. Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca.
Speaking during the launch, Borg said the project had turned Coleiro Preca’s vision into a reality.
“Here in Mount Carmel Hospital, E.T. Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca’s idea has become a reality,” he said, adding that the new space gives residents access to computers and digital tools.
The initiative aims to expand digital accessibility within the hospital, offering residents a dedicated environment where they can make use of technology as part of their daily lives.
The inauguration marks another step towards strengthening digital inclusion across Malta’s healthcare sector.
