
CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro — Police on Thursday arrested Oriental Mindoro’s top most wanted fugitive with eight alleged statutory rape charges after tracking him down at Barangay Sta. Isabel here.
The suspect, whose identity was withheld, was nabbed at 1:30 p.m. by police who were serving a court-issued arrest warrant for eight counts of alleged statutory rape under Article 266-A, Paragraphs (1)(A) and (D) of the Revised Penal Code. The cases are docketed as Criminal Case Nos. CR-26-17913 to CR-26-17920. The court recommended no bail for the charges.

The suspect is now in the custody of the Calapan City Police Station while documentation is being completed before his turnover to the court that issued the warrant.
