World Rugby said Thursday that Italy

coach Gonzalo Quesada has been banned for two matches for

calling French referee Luc Ramos as "super poor" after his

side's 47-17 defeat to the All Blacks in Wellington on Saturday

and criticising the scheduling of the new Nations Championship.

Italy had lock Niccolò Cannone sent off in the second half of

the loss for headbutting New Zealand scrumhalf Cam Roigard and

the player has been given a four-match ban.

A week before taking on the All Blacks in New Zealand, the

Azzurri lost 27-10 to Japan in Tokyo and they will face

Australia in Perth this weekend.

The Italian Rugby Federation (FIR) said it will appeal against

Quesada's ban.
