Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has described his wife, Chioma Adeleke, as his “life coordinator,” revealing that she plays a key role in managing his finances.
In a viral video which started trending online on Wednesday, the singer was seen placing a phone call to Chioma after he was unable to access his account while trying to send money to his personal assistant, Lati.
Davido requested that his wife transfer $4,000 to his aide on his behalf.
“Hello, hello baby, good morning my wife, my love. Help me send Lati $4,000. I can’t login, I don’t know why, its the service here. Alright. We’re taking off now to Naija, I love you,” he said during the call.
When asked by his official streamer, Davreltv, whether his wife had taken over the management of his finances, Davido responded in the affirmative, attributing the arrangement to his spending habits.
“So your wife has been managing the money?” the streamer asked.
