Hong Kong police have arrested a 14-year-old boy on suspicion of wounding for allegedly shoving a classmate who was later sent to hospital.
The force said on Friday that the boy was arrested on suspicion of wounding on Monday after an in-depth investigation.
The teenager was subsequently released on bail pending further investigation and was required to report to police in late July, it added.
The suspect was arrested in connection with a report filed on July 3, which involved a 16-year-old boy who lost consciousness at school.
Preliminary investigations suggested that the suspect had pushed the victim in a classroom, knocking him unconscious and requiring him to be taken to Tuen Mun Hospital for treatment.
It was understood that the incident took place at Tuen Mun Government Secondary School.
