More than 12,600 children have enrolled in SkolaSajf 2026, with this year’s summer programme taking place across 54 centres in Malta and Gozo.
A total of 12,634 children are attending the programme, which is being delivered through 45 mainstream centres in Malta, five in Gozo and four Resource Centres, supported by 2,761 educators as part of a €7.4 million investment.
This year’s theme, “Reach for the Stars”, encourages children to explore their potential through a variety of non-formal activities designed to promote creativity, curiosity, confidence and teamwork.
Education Minister Byron Camilleri described SkolaSajf as one of the country’s key services for supporting children and working families during the summer holidays, while FES CEO Michael Bondin said this year’s strong enrolment reflects families’ continued trust in the programme.
SkolaSajf will run until 11th September, with a short break between 10th and 14th August, while extended opening hours will continue to be offered at selected centres to support working parents.
