
MANILA, Philippines – The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has arrested a woman for alleged illegal recruitment of job-seeking victims from Pangasinan, promising them to earn P80,000 to P90,000 a month salary as farmers in South Korea. In an interview with reporters on Friday, NBI Human Trafficking Division (HTRAD) chief Rosalie Laguardia said their agents, along with personnel from the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), conducted the entrapment operation in a clinic in Malate, Manila, on Tuesday.
