EXCLUSIVE: Production has wrapped on under-the-radar indie pic How The Cookie Crumbles, a coming-of-age R-rated comedy starring Giorgia Whigham (Ted), comedian and influencer Trevor Wallace (Busboys), Alyssa Milano (Charmed) and Shea Whigham (Boardwalk Empire).

Shot in Vancouver, the project marks the feature debut of filmmakers Edward McDonald and Lucas Fraser. It is also the first feature produced by Range Media Partners co-founder Jack Whigham.

The ensemble cast also includes Rohan Campbell, Bentley Green, Kaitlyn Kemp, Sara Demetree, Phoebe Petry and Jason Coulter.

The synopsis reads: “When Tatum (Giorgia Whigham) is sentenced to court-mandated community service, a high-strung family friend (Milano) gives her the last job she ever wanted: leading a troop of misfit young girl scouts in pursuit of the prestigious Golden Cookie Badge. Convinced the program is failing to teach the girls any real-life skills, Tatum throws out the rulebook and launches her own unorthodox agenda to prepare them for adulthood. Along the way, she battles an obscene rival troop leader (Wallace), falls for one of her scout’s older brothers (Campbell), and tries to regain the trust of her father (Shea Whigham). In the process, she comes to care for her troop — and may just learn how to become a functioning adult herself.”

The “lovable misfits of Little Ladybugs Troop 4-19” are played by Grace Collier, Mila Morgan, Isabel Birch, and Evelyn Burke. Errin Lally and Annalese Tilling cast the film.

Producers are Jack Heston of Tusitala Pictures and AJ Bourscheid and Whigham of Range. The movie is a Range and Tusitala Pictures production, in association with Ferrari Films and Buzz Film Group. Executive producers include Oliver Wheeler, Kevin Leeson and Stacy Kemp Ferrari. Giorgia Whigham, Edward McDonald and Lucas Fraser also serve as executive producers. Range Select is handling sales.
