A former Managing Director of the National Inland Waterways Authority, Dr George Moghalu, has condoled with the vice-presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress, Rotimi Amaechi, over the death of his mother, Dame Ezinne Amaechi.

He described the late Dame Amaechi as a revered matriarch whose life was marked by faith, humility, sacrifice and compassion, saying her death marked the end of a purposeful and fulfilled life.
According to him, her enduring legacy of love, selfless service, and devotion to God would continue to inspire generations.
He said, “She held her family together in love, peace, and unity, while serving as a respected community women’s leader and devoted Christian whose trust in God remained steadfast throughout her lifetime.
“Deeply loved and highly respected within and beyond her community, she will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, generosity, and unwavering support for others.
