A scrub fire in the Auckland suburb of Parnell shut down a major section of the city's train network all Saturday morning.
Fire and Emergency was called to the blaze near the Fred Ambler Lookout around 4am and were there until 9am.
Four fire trucks and one ladder truck responded to put out the fire, which at its peak covered an area of around 50 metres by 20 metres.
Waitematā Station (Britomart) was closed all morning and services between there and Newmarket were cancelled.
Around midday, an Auckland Transport spokesperson advised that "regular train services are back up and running, and Waitematā Station is open."
It comes as fans prepare to head to the All Blacks versus Ireland match at Eden Park, and the Warriors versus Dragons match at Go Media Stadium.
