Information and new media officers of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI), on Friday visited Media Trust Group Limited, owners of Daily Trust, Trust TV, Trust Radio, Aminiya and Digital Trust as part of a learning tour aimed at strengthening their media and communication capacity.
The delegation, comprising media and information personnel from the agency’s headquarters and its various institutes nationwide, was led by the Director of Information, New Media and Protocol, Mr Olusegun Ayeoyenikan.
The visit formed the concluding activity of the NASENI Information and New Media Officers’ 2026 Retreat and Training Programme, which was held at the agency’s headquarters.
The tour provided participants with the opportunity to interact with media professionals, gain practical insights into the organisation’s central newsroom operations, and deepen their understanding of modern journalism, digital communication and content production.
Members of the delegation were received by the Media Trust Group’s Newsroom Manager, Mrs Musa Fawziya and Trust TV Editor, Aisha Haruna, who conducted them round the central newsroom, Trust TV and the printing press.
The exercise is part of NASENI’s efforts to enhance the capacity of its information officers and improve the dissemination of information on the agency’s programmes, innovations and achievements.
