Alex Eala tops Czech aces in Star of the Swing poll

MANILA, Philippines — Alex Eala was voted Star of the Swing for the grass-court season in a poll by the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA). Eala edged Wimbledon champion Linda Noskova and runner-up Karolina Muchova for the fan-based recognition. The Filipino tennis ace captured nearly 90 percent of the vote.
