Andy Cohen Reveals How His Kids Feel About Boyfriend Kevin Sobieski

Andy Cohen is sharing a glimpse at what happens during date night.

Indeed, the Watch What Happens Live host recently hard launched his relationship with businessman Kevin Sobieski, sharing a photo of the two from a night out to Instagram July 17.

Underneath a sweet picture of the pair standing side by side, featuring each of them wrapping one arm around the other, Cohen simply wrote, “Date Night.”

And in response to going Instagram official, the Bravo host was met with plenty of well wishes including from The Valley’s Brittany Cartwright, who poked fun at her own way of saying it, writing, “Dayte noiggght.” Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Marlo Hampton commented, “Date night looks good on you,” while Summer House star Kyle Cooke added, “Stud muffins.”

The couple’s latest milestone comes after they celebrated Cohen’s 58th birthday on June 2, stepping out hand-in-hand for dinner at celebrity hotspot Via Carota in New York City. After their outing, Cohen—who is dad to kids Ben, 7, and Lucy, 4—shared more insight into their romance.

"People have asked me for a long time, 'When are you going to get a boyfriend? Why don't you have a boyfriend?'" Cohen said during the June 8 episode of his SiriusXM radio show Andy Cohen Live. "And I have always said, 'I will know when I meet the person.'"

And when you know, you know.

"It's always been a feeling for me," he added, "and I am really happy to say that I met the person you guys."

That said, Cohen also shared he made sure to be "slow and deliberate and methodical" when it came to introducing his kids to Sobieski, 42. "He loves my children,” Cohen explained, “and they love him and I love him."

As for how they began dating, Cohen’s love story with Sobieski served as the classic meet-cute.

"It was 11 months ago and I saw him from across the party," Cohen recalled during his show. "I almost didn't go and I dragged myself out. I never get invited to gay parties in the Hamptons anymore. I was like, 'You know what? Let me just go.'"

In fact, once Cohen saw Sobieski, he thought to himself, "'I got to talk to this guy. Who is this guy?'"

And the rest is history.

"We talked all night," he shared. "I very methodically put my number in his phone and he was like, 'Wow, the way you...' and apparently I said to him twice that night, 'I want to make sure this number is right.' And then he said, 'I knew you were serious when you were really serious about this number.'"

"I really am happy," he shared. "I can't believe I found this guy. I'm in shock."
