
HAVANA, Cuba — Prominent Cuban dissident artist Luis Manuel Otero Alcantara, whose five-year prison sentence ended last week, on Saturday left Havana for the United States, according to a post on his Facebook page, which is managed by his friends. “After five years of unjust imprisonment, Cuban artist Luis Manuel Otero Alcantara has finally been freed,” read the post, which added that he had obtained a visa to enter the United States.
