
CEBU CITY, Philippines — Undermanned EGS Surveying secured its most convincing victory in the ongoing Architects and Engineers Basketball Association (AEBA) 9th Corporate Cup after routing Fenestram, 98-81, on Saturday, June 6, at the University of San Carlos (USC) Downtown Campus Gym.
The win was highlighted by the tournament’s highest individual scoring performance of the night, as Dafydd June Tallido exploded for 41 points to go along with three rebounds and three assists to lead an undermmaned team which only fielded five players.
The victory improved EGS Surveying, a team composed of licensed engineers from the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE), to a 2-5 record.

The loss, meanwhile, handed Fenestram, a squad made up of computer engineers, its seventh straight defeat in the tournament.
Juan Dela Torre added a double-double of 29 points and 12 rebounds, while Zuriel Andre Dunque also posted a double-double with 14 points and 14 rebounds. Scott Aying chipped in 10 points for EGS Surveying.
Tiempo on Fenestram’s frontline
For Fenestram, Neil Tiempo led the scoring with 20 points, while Michael Neri and Patrick Paran contributed 14 points apiece in the losing effort.
Meanwhile, Johnro Electrical remained on top of the standings after notching its sixth victory with a 92-80 drubbing of Davies Paints behind Paolo Munez’s 25-point performance.

The win improved Johnro Electrical’s record to 6-1, while Davies Paints slipped to 3-4.
Avantrac also improved to 5-2 after escaping RELLM Engineering, 89-87. Jemcerson Sable and Noriko Benedicto paced Avantrac with 28 and 22 points, respectively.
In other results, Sports & Play edged CBM Engineering, 81-78, while Dextructures defeated Sinclaire, 89-82.
