
CEBU CITY, Philippines— Anthony Bajenting delivered a historic performance, powering EZ Pavers to a dominant 135-93 victory over Davies Paints in the Cebu Architects Basketball Club (CABC) 8th Corporate Cup on Sunday, June 7, at Game Changer in Mandaue City.
Bajenting put on a show with 43 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists, and two steals, recording what could be one of the tournament’s earliest triple-doubles.
He was highly efficient from the field, knocking down 17 of 22 shots, including four three-pointers, as EZ Pavers pulled away and built a lead of as many as 49 points.
Sokrates Nagel provided strong support with 24 points and 11 rebounds, while Francis Regis and Aaron Yang chipped in 19 and 16 points, respectively. Armund Claro and Keith Pinero also contributed 12 and 10 points in the lopsided victory.

For Davies Paints, Ian Chris Alcazar finished with 18 points, while Jeffrey Basalo added 16.
In another match, Landlite outlasted SR & T Industrial Supply, 98-91, behind Jhazriel Jumola’s near triple-double of 21 points, nine rebounds, two blocks, one assist, and one steal.
Modern Windows also secured a 78-66 victory over Peralta Design Services. John Therese Buhawe led the way with 33 points, eight rebounds, four assists, and four steals, while Jun Villacorata posted a 12-point, 12-rebound double-double.

Julius and Sean Romano combined for 30 points for the losing side, with Julian Romano adding 10 rebounds.
Boysen Paints completed the day’s winning run, defeating Corrchem, 76-62. Miggy Aparri tallied a double-double of 11 points and 14 rebounds, while Lemuel Aspacio led all Boysen scorers with 19 points.
