
CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY — Following the magnitude 7.8 earthquake that struck parts of Mindanao Monday morning, the Philippine Army’s 10th Infantry Division (10ID), based in Davao de Oro, has mobilized its disaster response units to assist affected communities. In a statement, the 10ID said it immediately placed its forces on heightened alert and deployed Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response (HADR) teams from the 27th and 28th Infantry Battalions, Task Force Gensan, the 1002nd Infantry Brigade, and the 10th Emergency Response Company.
