
COTABATO CITY — The Bangsamoro government has deployed its Rapid Damage Assessment and Needs Analysis (RDANA) team to the neighboring Soccsksargen region to help provide humanitarian aid to victims of the magnitude 7.8 earthquake.
Bangsamoro Chief Minister Abdulraof Macacua said the deployment of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao – Rapid Emergency Action on Disaster Incidence (READi) is conducted in coordination with the Office of Civil Defense–Bangsamoro Autonomous Region (OCD-BAR), which aims to strengthen damage assessment, coordination, and information management efforts in affected communities.

BARMM-READi said the RDANA team is tasked with conducting on-the-ground assessments, search-and-rescue operations, gathering critical data on infrastructure damage and urgent humanitarian needs, and strengthening coordination among responding agencies.
