
Long-time South Korean celebrity couple Choi Sooyoung of Girls’ Generation and actor Jung Kyung Ho have ended their relationship after 14 years of dating, their respective agencies confirmed.
In response to reports about their breakup, Sooyoung’s agency, SARAM Entertainment, said on Tuesday, June 9, “It is true that they have broken up. They have decided to remain good colleagues.”
Jung’s agency, Management Allum, also confirmed the split, saying, “It is true that they have broken up. As it is a private matter, it is difficult to provide further details.”

Choi and Jung started dating in September 2012. They confirmed their relationship to the public in January 2014.
Choi debuted with Girls’ Generation in 2007 and rose to international fame through hits such as “Gee,” “Genie” and “Into the New World.”
Aside from her music career, she also established herself as an actress through projects including “Run On,” “If You Wish upon Me,” “Not Others” and “Fanletter, Please.”
Jung, meanwhile, rose to fame for his roles in the Korean dramas “Hospital Playlist,” “Prison Playbook,” “Crash Course in Romance,” “Smile, You” and “When the Devil Calls Your Name.” /ra
