Jenny Mollen Details "Current State" of Her Life After Jason Biggs Breakup

Jason Biggs and Jenny Mollen are entering their next chapter together.

Less than a month after the former couple confirmed their breakup following 18 years of marriage May 14, they proved their friendship is strong as ever during an outing with their kids Sid, 12, and Lazlo, 8, in New York June 7.

They embarked on a family dinner arm-in-arm, with Biggs, 48, sporting jeans, a white T-shirt and an open button down shirt, while Mollen, 47, wore a white mini skirt with a black tank-top, a gold belt and flip-flops.

Mollen kept herself attached to Biggs’ arm as they walked through the streets of Manhattan, and sat with him at an outdoor dining table alongside their kids, who remained mostly out of sight.

At one point during their family meal, the American Pie star got up troubled by something he had eaten and walked away to a nearby dumpster where Mollen joined to comfort him, placing a hand on his back.

Mollen and Biggs’ outing comes shortly after a rep for the couple emphasized they were on “great terms” following their separation. While confirming their split May 14, the rep added in a statement to E! News that the duo will “remain focused” on peacefully co-parenting their kids.

While Biggs has not addressed this new life chapter, Mollen has shared insight into how she is approaching being single for the first time nearly 20 years.

“I leave for Italy on Wednesday, which sounds soooo Eat, Pray, Love considering the current state of my life,” Mollen wrote in a May 25 entry on her Substack. “But I’m not going to find myself or sleep with some beautiful Italian stranger. I already have two half-Italians at home.”

Nevertheless, she alluded to some hard feelings regarding her split from Biggs, joking that amid her trip, “If I come across a piñata, I absolutely intend on beating the s--t out of it.”

Meanwhile, prior to the couple confirming their breakup, the author did not shy away from sharing insight on their rocky chapter.

“I’ve never been broken up with,” the Cattle Call star wrote in a May 10 Substack post. “I've never been into someone who wasn’t just slightly more into me. But now karma is going to make me pay in spades!!!!”
