Sinner back at Milan's San Raffaele hospital to complete checks
Italy's world number one suffered physical meltdown in 2nd round of French Open

Italy's world number one Jannik
Sinner returned to Milan's San Raffaele hospital on Tuesday to
complete a round of medical checks and tests he started on
Monday following the physical meltdown that saw him exit the
French Open in the second round on May 28.
Doctors are seeking to find the cause of the issue that led the
24-year-old to cave in physically when he was on the verge of
victory in the third set of his match against Argentine Juan
Manuel Cerundolo.
After the match the South Tyrolean four-time slam winner did not
blame the heat but said he had simply run out of energy.
Sinner had been odds-on to win his first Roland Garros and take
his major tally to five after his great rival, Spanish
23-year-old seven-time slam winner Carlos Alcaraz, pulled out of
the French Open and Wimbledon with a wrist injury.
Last year's final, in which Sinner had three match points before
losing a five-set epic to the Spanish ace, was one of the best
ever in Paris.
