Diaspora group hails Yayi’s projects, leadership in Ogun

The Yayi Diaspora Movement has lauded the 2027 All Progressives Congress governorship candidate and senator representing Ogun West, Solomon Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, for his selflessness, impactful leadership and unwavering commitment to promoting good governance across Ogun State.

The group, in a statement released on Tuesday, signed by its Global Secretary, Paul Abina, said it was refreshing and reassuring to see the rollout of no fewer than 53 developmental projects spanning roads, education, healthcare, town halls and police stations, among others, to mark the senator’s third year in office.

It noted that the milestone is a continuation of a proven record of performance that has seen the senator facilitate numerous developmental projects and empowerment programmes across the three senatorial districts of the state since assuming office in 2023.

Speaking on behalf of the group, the Convener, Olusola Adisa-Adunbarin, said the completion of another 53 critical projects across Ogun State within three years of Senator Yayi’s tenure was an extraordinary achievement deserving of commendation.

Adisa-Adunbarin said, “This is practical leadership in action and a clear demonstration of commitment, competence and genuine concern for the welfare of the people.

“It further strengthens our conviction that Senator Yayi possesses the vision, capacity and experience required to deliver even greater development for Ogun State.”

He added that the group was extremely proud of the senator’s accomplishments, noting that beyond the 53 projects, his record of infrastructural development and large-scale empowerment programmes across the three senatorial districts had earned him the trust and admiration of the people.

Adisa-Adunbarin said, “These achievements reaffirm our belief that, as the All Progressives Congress governorship candidate for Ogun State, he is well-positioned to provide transformational leadership and accelerate development across every part of the state.”

Also speaking, the Global Coordinator of the group, Adekunle Adegoke, popularly known as Sanjay, praised Senator Adeola’s consistency in delivering tangible dividends of democracy to the people.

Adegoke said the projects spread across the three senatorial districts were proof that effective representation is not about promises but measurable results. He added that Senator Yayi had demonstrated exceptional dedication to the development of the state and set a standard worthy of emulation by public office holders.
